Obituary of Raymond ELLIS

July 24, 1930 - July 28, 2022

Musician and craftsman Raymond Ellis’ love of life didn’t come to an end with his passing. Raymond passed away at home in his 92nd year on the 28th of July. Surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honour his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

“Raymond spent five years at the prestigious Kneller Hall in England. Playing for the Queen’s coronation on the steps of Westminster Abbey. His love for music knew no bounds and was a cornerstone of his upbringing. 

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Raymond. He loved a quiet evening with his wife Jean and a glass of scotch in hand. He had an uncanny ability to find happiness in daily activities; from planting incredibly eye-catching gardens, to swimming laps in the pool. His pleasant personality was contagious to everyone he met. 

Raymond is survived by his wife, Jean Maud; four children; ten grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.”
