Obituary of Alan HUNTER

Hunter, Alan March 7, 1958-June 15, 2022 Alan passed away peacefully on June 15, 2022 at Headwaters Health Care Centre at the age of 64. He was the owner of Shelburne Feed Service Inc. Brother to Tom (Carolyn) and Diane Martin (Ted). Uncle to Dale (predeceased) and Marissa Hunter, Rachel and Sara Martin. Predeceased by parents Walter Hunter and Margaret Ferguson. Alan lived his life on his own terms. In his younger years he was active in hockey, baseball and Junior Farmers in Shelburne. In 1991, he started Shelburne Feed Service. Alan was the happiest standing behind the counter at Shelburne Feed Service chatting with his customers. For most of his customers it was not just going to the store to pick up feed or bird seed, it was a stop for a friendly visit. We will miss his many conversations about local agriculture, sports, town gossip and just catching up with each other, but above all we will miss his laughter and quick wit. Rest easy Alan!
