Obituary of Joan Mary Walker

Walker, Mary Joan (Rideout) June 20, 1935 - August 18, 2019 born in Ottawa After 84 years of a full life, Joan passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday August 18, 2019 at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville. Predeceased by her parents Walter and Viola Rideout and her loving husband, Ernest Walker (2012). Survived by her children Danny (Karen), Ed (Nancy), Rick (Linda), Lori (Mike), Debbie (Deron), Annette; her grandchildren Robert, Daniel (Cindy), Megan, Rhian, Walker, William, Jena, Deron, Dylan, William, Devon, Colin, Nolan, Danny-Moon; and her great-grandchildren John and Jaime. Joan will be missed by many family and friends. A celebration of Joan’s life will be held at In Memoriam Life Celebration Centre, 633419 Highway 10, Mono, Ontario on Saturday September 7th, 2019 from 11:00am - 2:00pm. Words of Remembrance will be held at 12:30 p.m. Joan’s family would like to thank the staff at Headwaters for all their care throughout the years and comfort in her last days with us. In memory of Joan and in lieu of flowers, donations to Headwaters Health Care Centre or the Go Fund Me for her niece, Maddys Robotic Arm fundraiser would be appreciated by the family.
