Watson, Morley Mervin October 23, 1944 – June 6, 2018 Sadly, we announce the passing of Morley in his 74th year. Much loved son of Eileen and Mervin (2006). Beloved Partner for Life of Lynda Bellamy. Cherished father and Grandpa Narley of Sarah, Jayden, Logan and Jennifer (Albert). Loved Big Brother of Carl (2017, Betty), Nan (Tom Austin) and Jane (Tim Rutledge). He will be dearly missed by his nieces and nephews, Coby (Miriam, Tyler, Ciara, Emma, Lily), Brad (Alexis), Kelly Greatrex (Jason & Amelia), Bruce Codd (Nicole), Sam Austin (Michelle McCann, Jana, Rila), Nancy Hooper (Brad, Caleb, McKenna), Chloe Austin, Martin Austin (Elizabeth, Adelynn, Erik), Althea Austin and Paul Rutledge. Fondly remembered by Uncle Maurice, Aunt Elsie, cousin Ron Cole, Barb Van Larkin (mother of his girls), many other cousins and his Welsh friends. Morley was a lifelong resident of Orangeville and was a proud member of Orangeville Odd Fellows, Royal Canadian Legion Br. 233, and St. Mark’s Anglican Church. He was a long time employee of Upper Grand School Board where he had a great rapport with faculty, staff and students. Morley was an avid sportsman; he enjoyed hockey, baseball, curling and golf. He loved to cheer on his Northmen, Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays. The family will receive friends at the In Memoriam Life Celebration Centre, 633419 Highway 10, Mono, Ontario on Sunday June 10th, 2018 from 2pm - 4pm and 7pm -9pm. A Funeral Service to celebrate Morley’s life will be held at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, 5 First Ave, Orangeville, Ontario on Monday June 11, 2018 at 2pm with visitation one hour prior to service time. With a time of fellowship taking place after his service at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 233, 7 John Street, Orangeville, Ontario. If desired, donations to St. Mark’s Anglican Church or the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 233 would be appreciated by the family. In Memoriam Funeral Services Inc. has been given the honour to serve the Watson Family.
