Obituary of Wesley John Mileham

Mileham, Wesley After a long struggle with drug addiction, Wesley, passed away on January 30th, 2019 at Brampton Civic Hospital at the age of 27. Cherished son of Eric and Gillian Mileham; loved brother of Fox and Morgan; beloved grandson of Patricia Barkley and John Mileham; predeceased by his grandparents Lorne Barkley and Elaine Mileham; nephew of Sylvia and Gene Hill, Sylvia and Earl Smith and Danielle Mileham. Welsey will be missed by his many other relatives and friends. He worked very hard at overcoming his addiction and had many great friends that were helping him in his battle. Unfortunately his addiction stalked him and stole him once again. He enjoyed working hard and had a passion for landscaping and building. He took great pride in fixing trucks and was excited to start his career as an automotive technician. He was an avid motocross racer in his youth. He said his greatest win was a heat race at the Sky Dome. He was looking forward to someday racing again. Wesley was outgoing and always willing to help his friends. He found joy in the simple things in life. Hanging with friends, riding his bike, frisbee golf just to name a few. Wes was always protective of his brother and sister and would go out of his way to tease and torment them. We got to spend the last 7 months with Wesley, at times when Wesley was sober we would see a Wes that had a bright and happy future, until the dark veil of addiction would steal that away. A Memorial Visitation will be held at the In Memoriam Life Celebration Centre, 633419 Highway 10, Mono, Ontario on Sunday March 3, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. with Words of Remembrance taking place at 2:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Headwaters Health Care Centre may be made in memory of Wesley. In Memoriam Funeral Services Inc. has been given the honour to serve the Mileham Family.
