Obituary of Frank LANDESZ

Please share a memory of Frank to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

June 9, 1959 - May 14, 2024

Frank passed peacefully with his children by his side, on May 14, 2024, at Bethell Hospice, in Ingelwood, ON.

Frank will be sadly missed by his mother Helen and the late Frank Landesz (predeceased 2004), sister's Cathy (Danny) and Sue (Stuart).

Frank leaves behind his children, Amanda (Carmen), Christopher and Marc (predeceased 2012).  He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, (who lovingly called him Papa) - Massimo, Ryker, and Annabelle.  He will also be missed by former wife Rosemarie and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Frank was a lover of the arts and enjoyed music, drawing and poetry.  He loved the outdoors and spent many hours fishing with a cold beer in hand.  Family was Frank's priority, who he loved spending time with.  In his younger years, Frank coached hockey for his son's team and was loved by many in the community.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank's memory can be made to Bethell Hospice Foundations.

A celebration of Frank's life will be held on Friday, May 24th, 2024, at Sammy's Grill - 15 Allan Drive, Unit 16, Bolton, ON, L7E 2B5, starting at 7:00 pm, with words of remembrance at 7:30 pm.  Please join us to raise a glass in Frank's memory.

A Fallen Limb

A limb has fallen from the family tree.
I keep hearing a voice that says,
“Grieve not for me.
Remember the best times,
the laughter, the song.
The good life I lived
while I was strong.
Continue my heritage,
I’m counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely
the sun will shine through.
My mind is at ease,
my soul is at rest.
Remembering all,
how I truly was blessed.
Continue traditions,
no matter how small.
Go on with your life,
don’t worry about falls.
I miss you all dearly,
so keep up your chin.
Until the day comes
we’re together again.”
