Douglas "Buppy" Gerald Goss

 

October 28,1937 - November 22nd, 2023

 

 

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 22nd, 2023 at Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Orillia.

 

 

Predeceased by partner - Doreen Wilson of 18 years, Brother, Tom and Sister, Carol Martin and parents Albert and Doris Goss.  Survived by his brother Larry (Sylvia) and sister Janice (John) children Cindy (Harry), Doug Jr., Andrea (Jim) and Brenda (Glenn).

 

 

Grandchildren Randy (Danielle), Brian (Tracy), Kevin (Stacey), Glen, Kendra, Tanya(Devon) Jenna (Shawn).

 

 

Great grandchildren Julia, Hailey, Brayden, Brody, Dylan, McKenzie, Everett, Paisleigh, Reed.

 

 

Doug was a long-time truck driver and employee of Thibodeu/Finch Transport Company and once retired he enjoyed 30 years as a snowbird in Florida. Doug enjoyed spending his last 20 years living at Big Cedar Estates, enjoying that retirement. He enjoyed playing hockey and golf with his grandsons and spending time with his “darlings” his granddaughters. He was so very proud of his (9) Great Grandchildren! He was predeceased by his best friend, his dog “Lucky”. 

 

 

Thank you to the Doctors and Staff at Soldiers Memorial Hospital for their care given to him in his final days.

 

 

A private family gathering will be held after internment next June 2024.
