  Lloyd Arnold Collins

March 16, 1944 - November 14, 2023

Lloyd and his twin brother Lorne (predeceased 2016) were born in Toronto to dear loving parents Audrey (nee Helter) and Edward Collins.  Lloyd lived the first ten years at 1021 The Queensway in Etobicoke where his Dad was a market gardener. The following 52 years were lived on the farm on Heritage Road, Huttonville. At an early age Lloyd experienced seizures which affected his journey through life. He lived with his Mom, Dad and brothers on the spinach farm where he proudly expressed his joy to participate in packing and stacking bushels of spinach. Family, friends and neighbours all enjoyed his friendliness and strong desire to be included in all activities.

Lloyd loved water fun at the cottage near Windermere. He accompanied his parents on trips to Florida, The Rockies, Calgary Stampede, England and Hawaii.

Lloyd is survived by his sister Carol and brother-in-law Murray of Windermere, brother Lorne (predeceased 2016) and sister-in-law Peggy of Rockwood, brother Jim and sister-in-law Betsy of Mono and brother Glenn (predeceased 2012).

Many nieces and nephews have fond memories of Lloyd. Lloyd was the family glue.

Our family sincerely appreciates the compassionate and confident care received by Lloyd at Dufferin Oaks Long Term Care in Shelburne and the previous years at Fox Run in Erin.
