Obituary of Verna Bernice HOOD

July 16, 1927 - October 16, 2023

It is with heavy hearts we share that our beloved (Verna) Bernice ‘Bern’ Hood (née Rodgers), (originally from Proton Station) passed away at a Strathcona Long Term Care on Monday, October 16, 2023 peacefully in her her 97th year. 

Beloved wife of the late Robert ‘Bob’ Hood (1998). Loving mother of Debby Hood and Bobbi Worrall and mother in law of Steve Worrall. Cherished grandmother to Kimberly and April (John), great grandmother to Amanda (David), Derrick (Marina), Chantal and Cole (Ashley), AND great-great grandmother to Carter, Lukas and soon to be here, baby Alexander. She will be missed by many family members and friends, as she collected so many throughout the years. 

A private celebration of life will be had at a later date.
