George, who lived in the Winston Park Retirement Home, passed peacefully on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at the age of 87, in the Grand River Hospital in Kitchener.  
 
George was born in Toronto, Ontario, and lived there most of his life, working as a police officer for Metropolitan Toronto Police for several years and retail manager, before finished his career as a Limousine driver.
 
 
He is survived by his children Paul (Michelle), Kelly, Corrine and Tony.  Stepchildren Gary (Vicky), Mark (Susan - predeceased), Lori (predeceased), Cindy (Dave), Jim (Marlene) and Lisa (Rob).  He will also be missed by his numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
