June 30, 1966 – August 20, 2023
Peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Sunday, August 20, 2023, in her 57th year.
Shelley Spears of Pembroke, beloved daughter of the late of Elgin and Jean Spears. Loving Mother to Victoria Lawson (Kyle). Caring Grandmother to Alana andAmber. Cherished sister to Tracy (Randy) Godfrey and Sherry (John) Vander Varrt. Fun loving Aunt to Jeffery Vander Varrt (Felicia), Jessica Vander Varrt (Shannon), Nicole Godfrey and Corey Godfrey (Robert).
Her passing has been felt greatly by her beloved cats Chucky and Cheesy. She will be deeply missed by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Respecting Shelley's wishes, cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday November 3rd, 2023, at In Memoriam Funeral Services Inc. – 28 Main Street. North, Grand Valley, ON
from 1:00 PM.- 3:00 p.m.
She will be laid to rest with her parents at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
A special thank you to the staff of the 3rd floor medical unit at PRH for their compassionate care and to Dr. David Stewart, Head of the Ottawa General Hospital Oncology Department through the last year for his care.
