Obituary of Rose RICCI

Rosemeri (Rose) Barbara Ricci, (Nee Adamo) of Shelburne, Ontario, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on August 2nd, 2023 at the age of 78, after a short battle with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA).

Predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Valentino. She is survived by her beloved children Micah and Sarah (David), grandson's Jacob and Mason. Rose is also survived by brothers; Frank (Linda), Luy (Peggy), and Tav (Kathy deceased).

Rose is predeceased by parents Peter and Josephine; brothers Dom (Laurie), Tony (Dyanne), Jack (Rochelle) and Vic (Thea).

Also surviving Rose are sister-in-law Natalina (Don deceased), Georgina (Robert deceased), Ramona, Ruby (Loretta), Vinny (Sue deceased), and Christine (John).

Also predeceased by brothers in law; Joe (Twyla), Roger (Carol), and sisters in law; Bonita (Joe), Shirley, Karon and Anna.

Rose was born in North Bay, ON on December 4, 1944. Rose and Val found their way to Shelburne in the early 70's where they made fast friends and setteled in with their new family. Creating many memories along the way. She spent 35 years employed by the Shelburne Credit Union, where she built lifelong friendships with colleagues and customers alike. Rose was an active part of the community through the Kinettes and K-Ettes. Rose enjoyed travelling, skiing, golfing and entertaining.

Her family will cherish the memories of Scalili making, assorted holiday baking, as well as decorating for the Christmas season.

Rose will truly be missed by those whose lives she touched.

Family and Friends will be Celebrating Rose's Life on August 26th 1pm - 4pm at the Shelburne Royal Canadian Legion Branch 220, Backhall. The Shelburne Royal Canadian Legion is located at 203 William Street, Shelburne, ON L9V 3L6
