Obituary of Sandra Lee TEED

Please share a memory of Sandra to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with a broken heart that we announce the passing of Sandra (Sandy) Lee Teed, 79 of Toronto, Ontario, on July 31st, 2023, with her loving daughter by her side, at Bethell Hospice.

Sandra was born to the late Albert and Rachel Teed (nee Berry), in Moncton New Brunswick, August 28, 1943.

She is survived by her daughter Lee Ann (Ron), Brampton, ON.  Brothers and sisters, Ronald Teed (Rita) of Manchester UK, Paul Teed (Joyce), Acton, Ontario, Mary Curry (Robert), Jean (Jim) McIntyre, Sister-in-law Bertha Teed, all of Moncton NB. Countless and beloved nieces and nephews in UK, Ontario, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia.  And her best friend Ursula Prusa of Oshawa, ON.

In addition to her parents, Sandy was predeceased by her siblings:  Carmel, Willis, Reginald, Marjorie, Bernice, Bernard, Joan, and Gary.

Sandra’s joys in life were hosting dinner parties, watching the news, talking politics and of course, in true Teed tradition, playing cards. She will be remembered for her kind heart, generosity, laughter, and the pleasures of her favorite songs, which could be heard Saturday mornings cleaning the house.

Her true passion showed through being Nana to many, and this will remain her life’s legacy:  Kyra, Lexus, Zavion, Reign and Royal, you will always be Loved more than you know.

In Sandra’s memory, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bethell Hospice, Inglewood Ontario, would be gratefully appreciated by the family. Bethell Hospice, where Sandra spent her last 2 weeks, cared for by a team of devoted, professional, and compassionate caregivers and volunteers. Too many to mention, but all, doing God’s work.
