Obituary of Siegfried WIEDEMANN

March 17, 1938 - September 6, 2021 Passed away peacefully with family by his side at the age of 83. Loving husband of Marianne. Dear father of Ilse, Christine (Adam), and Jennifer (Joel). Beloved grandfather to Vanessa (Adam), Rebecca (Patrick), Christin (Brandon), Sarah, and Marlies, and great-grandfather to Henry. Sigi is survived by his brother Rudolf, as well as extended family in Germany. Sigi was born and raised on his grandmother’s dairy farm in Bavaria, Germany. He immigrated to Canada in 1958 where he was well equipped for Canada having completed his apprenticeship in the dual trade of plumbing and sheet metal. He was the successful owner of Norland Metal Products Ltd. Sigi was happiest at the family cottage in Haliburton. He enjoyed playing golf, curling, and chess. Respecting Sigi’s wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Salvation Army.
