Scott EASTON

Obituary of Scott EASTON

“If there ever comes a day where we can’t be together, keep me in your heart. I’ll stay there forever.” Sunday, May 3, 2020, J Scott Easton, husband, father, son brother and uncle passed away at home surrounded by family after a bravely fought battle with cancer. Scott was born July 29,1965 in Toronto. He pursued many passions in life careers from farming, commercial diver, airplane mechanic to electrician/linesman. He owned and operated his own electrical and commercial business for many years before working for Hydro One as a Senior Foreman. He loved the outdoors, especially northern Ontario where his family had spent so much time growing up in Pointe Au Baril and Parry Sound. Later in years he would trap and hunt with his hunt buddies up north. Scott was an active member of Dufferin Northern Peel Anglers' and Hunters'Association, where he tirelessly shared his time, experience, and knowledge while enjoying his passion. Beekeeping was another passionate hobby he loved to share. Scott was also very good at helping out friends and family when called upon. Scott is preceded in death by his father, James Melvin Easton, and mother, Gwen Isobel (Burns). He is survived by his loving wife Jancey, his two children Christina (Adam) and Cameron, four grand-children, Alexander, Amelia, Emily and Adrielle, brothers Michael (Natacha) & Todd, nieces and nephews Megan, Anastasia, Noah and Kyan, in-laws Barry and Doreen, sister-in-law Kendra, and cousin Bonnie (Bob). He will be dearly missed by many family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Headwaters Healthcare Centre Oncology Department or The Canadian Cancer Society. A celebration of life will be held in honour of Scott at In Memoriam Funeral Services in Mono Plaza at a future time to be determined.
