Craig Leslie Post at the age of 65 passed away peacefully on Monday March 27 in his home, due to his ongoing medical conditions. Forever loved husband of Shelley Post. Loving father of Hendrick (Angela), Matthew (Teresa), Shawn (Laura), Samantha (Richard), Alex (Robin), Jennifer (Karl).  Proud Papa/Grandpa to Alli, Chase, Cole, Kyler, Shayla, Tyson, Kendrick. Brother to, Sharon (John) Boyce, Brian (Catherine), Gary (Benita), Shelley (Ken) Rush, Sister in-law Patricia Post. Predeceased by his parents William and Elaine Post, brothers Dean and Wayne. Beloved by his nieces and nephews including extended family members.

Ever since a young boy Craig has had a love for horses, though they were not always present in his life. It seemed that every time they were, it rekindled his life and made him feel like a kid again. His love for travel took him all over the world and always got him excited for the next adventure. He enjoyed spending quality time with family, whether a birthday, holiday, or special occasion, it was a major priority to get everyone together for a good home cooked meal. His interest in spiritual beliefs helped him to conquer so many challenges through the years, while connecting with his inner peace.

Craig has been a resident of Grand Valley area for approximately the last 40 years. Over these years he has met thousands of people and connected with so many. A great problem solver, he loved learning new ways to complete his end goal however challenging it might have been. Craig will always be remembered for his spontaneous nature and ability to live in the moment. Whether he was keeping busy for the next group event or upgrading his property. He was always on the move trying to accomplish another task, or three at a time. A very helpful man of so many trades. There was nothing that would give him more joy than to share his experiences in life with others or help guide them in a good direction. Craig will be greatly missed by everyone whose life he touched.

We will be gathering with family & friends on the property to celebrate the life of Craig on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 173541 Dufferin County Road 25, Grand Valley, ON L9W 0L7 from 1 pm to 6 pm.  Come reminisce over good times & memories.
