Shirley Marian Corbett
March 15, 1936 - October 20, 2022

Shirley Marian Corbett (nee Mathers) passed away peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Thursday, October 20,2022 at the age of 86.

Dear wife of the late Roy Corbett for 67 years.
Cherished mother to Brian (Susan), Brenda (Jeff),
Ken (Patsy), and predeceased by Kelly.

Precious grandmother of Robert (Shari), Nicole predeceased, Jeremy, Jamie (Jen), Ashley (predeceased by Earle), and Holly

Proud and caring great-grandmother to Addison, Charlize, Brooklynn, Kyla, and Jordan; Josh, Wyatt and Colton; Hayley, Jackson, Faith, Lillie and Aurora. Great-great grandmother to Dawson.

Shirley is survived by her sisters Gwen (Jack), Bernice (Glenn) and brother John.

Predeceased by sister-in-law’s Marjorie and Mildred and brother-in-law’s Ronnie and Robbie. Aunt too many nieces and nephews.

Shirley will be fondly remembered by her family and friends.

Shirley enjoyed doing ceramics in her earlier years and served on the Ladies Auxiliary of the Alton Legion. She was a wonderful cook and baker and was always happy to have family and friends drop in. She was thrilled to see new photos
of the grandchildren and hear what they were all doing.

Thank you to the Avalon Retirement Lodge and Community Care Access staff for their support, compassion and understanding while caring for Shirley (Mom).

A special thanks to the paramedics, doctors, and nurses of Headwaters Health Care Centre.
Interment at the Alton Cemetery will be held later.
