We are very sorry for the loss of Ron, a very special and devoted father, grandfather, Great-grandfather and uncle.
I fondly remember summer vacation time with Uncle Ron, Aunt Marge, Paula and Neil, at our grandparents'( Latham) cottage. The retaining wall and wooden swings built by Ron, Grandpa Ken and John, remained for decades.
Ron enjoyed visiting Dow's Lake in Ottawa, as it was only a few blocks from his childhood home. He also loved the Norway Bay area, where as a young adult, he enjoyed the sandy beaches and the local dance halls.
Ron was a caring brother, helping his sister & children during a very difficult time. He was also a great organizer of family excursions when we visited!
Ron was an avid reader, intelligent and interested in a broad range of subjects. I remember him speaking fondly of his 'Art in the Park' sessions. He was very pleased to visit the ERCO Buckingham location at age 90, where he chatted about many international locations.
Ron enjoyed a long and wonderful life. He will be deeply missed by his entire family, and the community, for his many contributions.
May the many wonderful memories of Ron give you strength and comfort.
With heartfelt condolences,
Suzanne, Barry & family

We send our condolences to Ron's family and recognize a long life well lived. We got to know both Ron and Marj here in Stratford; Al and Ron spent many hours together working on the Museum Board. He was a kind and gentle man, yet persistent in the chase of his cause, and there were many. We mourn his loss as we celebrate the gift of his long life and his influence on so many.
Fondly, Alan and Sandra Graff.

Dear Paula, Luigi, Tanya (family), Mathew (family) and Daniel,
I am so sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is to lose a father/grandfather no matter what age. I lost my father 28 years ago and I still cry. PauloLuigino and family and Neil, we are saddened by the passing of such an honourable and self giving man…your father. His conversations were always interesting and enlightening. He was kind and thoughtful and respectful of everyone, His obituary is so full of his amazing accomplishments, and reading it, I almost feel as though he lived more than one lifetime. In fact, he had already made incredibly contributions in engineering, and when he retired, he continued to contribute culturally in a very selfless manner.he always made time for family and his wonderful family is also his legacy,
Our sincere condolences to all of you. Society has lost a hero. May he Rest In Peace in the arms of the Angels.Daniella and Primo and family. our prayers are with you all
