Obituary of Linda Ann PRICE

March 20, 1948 - August 22, 2022 

On Monday, August 22, Linda Ann Price, loving mother, grandmother, and friend, lost her battle with Leukaemia at age 74.

Linda was born March 20, 1948 to Irene & Earnest James. She grew up in Willowdale before meeting the love of her life, Ronald Steis, and building a home and family near Orangeville, Ontario. Linda outlived her parents, both of her brothers, and her husband, raising two fabulous children on her own.

An avid gardener, Linda was a human encyclopedia of flower and plant names. She enjoyed giving tours of her gardens and subjecting her family and friends to multitudes of flower photos. In more recent years, many hours were spent knitting & crocheting up a storm especially for local charities. Linda loved activities and outings with her friends at the senior centre, namely knitting, line dancing, and afternoon meals together.

Linda leaves behind her children Bridget (Ken Chan) & James (Rachel Baptie), and her grandchildren Ashton & Emerson.

The family is forever in debt to her friends & healthcare workers, for all of their help in recent years. We couldn't have done it without you.

A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at the house - 248519 5th Sideroad, Mono, Ontario, On October 15th, 2022 From 1:00pm - 6:00:pm

 
Light refreshments will be served. Feel free to bring a small dish, alcohol, or just bring your best stories and put your party shoes on!
