Lesley, Rob, Jordyn, Brenden - Deepest condolences on the loss of your Dad and Grandfather. Your IHG family sends their support and love during this difficult time. May you find peace in your memories and during those little moments you are reminded of an inside joke, a family trip or fleeting thought of "My Dad would love this". Big hugs. Barb and family, Jim, Julie and family - my condolences on the loss of Doug. As a former neighbor of his father's farm in Melancthon, I recall the days of potato picking with Neil, Doug and Jim and slugging 80 lb. bags for shipment. The hard days of one row potato picking. So much has changed with the old neighborhood, but the great memories and friendships remain. Sounds like Doug and Barb had some great adventures before his passing. A life well lived. I am sorry that I will not be able to attend on the 14th since I will be en-route to BC, but wish everyone well.
Rest in peace Doug!

I am so very sorry for the great loss of Doug. Having just seen him at my brothers funeral, am shocked at sad sudden passing. I will always remember Doug and Barb at all the Henderson family reunions., It was always so great to see them. Doug always was quick with a joke, or quip to make us laugh. Sincere condolences to the family. Sending prayers and hugs to the family.
Love Ruth Henderson Levesque xoxo

Barb and family, Jim and Julianne and family, we are so sad to hear about Doug’s death. We have so many fond memories especially the hockey tournament ones! Wayne and Doug often joked that they were twins, both born on December 2, 1944. The few times that he and Wayne saw each other or played golf together after you guys moved to the Beach, would mean a long reminiscing gab session. He will certainly be missed. Take good care. Love Wayne and June Merkley.
