Obituary of Brent Robert BAILEY

May 18, 1970 – July 15, 2021 It is with great sadness to announce the sudden passing of Brent Bailey. He passed away peacefully at William Osler Health System – Brampton Civic Hospital, with his beloved wife Diane (Bawden) of 16 years by his side. Stepfather to Jason Simoes (Anat Slavinsky). Little brother to Dave Harrison (Deb Cavey). Son-in-law to Heather Watson (Peter Josic). Brother-in-law to Denis (Bonnie) Skok and Martina Udovicic (Phil Drew). Uncle to Drew (Daniella) Carrell and Rebecca Skok. Great uncle to Sophia Carrell. Proud puppy dad to Baron “The Dude” and the newest addition Archie. He will be greatly missed by many relatives and friends. Brent was an avid outdoors man.  He enjoyed fishing trips with his friends, a nice cold Coors light (making sure the mountains were nice and blue or it was no good, he would say), a BBQ with family and friends, his yearly Virginia Beach trips and of course his love of country music. Brent was someone who was always extremely excited come winter because that meant he got to become “snow plough man” once again. He would even leave the Weather Network on to track all the storms coming into Ontario, so he knew what was coming our way. He was a proud City of Brampton employee with 32 years of service. As well, the dedicated owner of B&D and Sometimes T Contracting.   Brent was someone who you could always rely on.  He was always there for his family and friends, no matter what, and the neighborhood will be forever changed without its patriarch. He will be dearly missed by so many people that knew him and there will always be a void in our hearts. It was Brent’s wish that no formal funeral service take place. Cremation has taken place.  Rather, it was Brent’s hope that you remember him with fond memories and laughter shared, while enjoying a Coors light. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada: Peel – Dufferin Chapter. Online condolences may be made at www.imfunerals.com In Memoriam Funeral Services Inc. has been given the honour to serve the Bailey Family.
