Obituary of Peter Douglas RENSHAW

Renshaw, Peter (Pete) March 11, 1956 – May 28, 2021 It is with great sadness that the family of Peter Renshaw announce his passing on May 28th, 2021. Peter is survived by his wife Brenda, his children Scott (Liz), Cheryl (Dennis); his grandchildren Liam, Colbieand Madison; siblings Sue (Ralph), Scott (Kim); his sister-in-law Donna and his nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his mother Peggy, father Bud and niece Erin. He was a devoted family man and nothing meant more to him. He held many titles in his life, but Husband, Dad and Big Poppy were the most important to him. Peter worked at Bell and Bell Aliant for 33 years and retired at the young age of 53. He was able to spend his retirement doing what he loved. He spent time with family and friends as often as he could and loved going north to fish and hunt in Biscoetasing, Ont., where he had a fish camp with his good friends Mike and Tony (deceased). He always enjoyed visiting Ed and Carmen while he was there. It was his home away from home. Peter was very active in the community, holding many volunteer positions on numerous boards including Family Transition Place, Dufferin Board of Trade and The Chamber of Commerce. He will be remembered for his great big smile, big heart, witty comments and countless one-liners. If you know Pete, he is sitting in his chair with a drink in his hand smiling down on us all. All donations can be made to The Family Transition Place in Orangeville and The Headwaters Health Care Centre in Orangeville. Due to COVID-19 there will be a celebration of life held at a later date. Online condolences may be made at www.imfunerals.com In Memoriam Funeral Services Inc. has been given the honour to serve the Renshaw Family.
